Could Your Man Boobs Be A Symptom of a More Serious Illness?
Posted on 22. Jun, 2009 by Dustin in Gynecomastia
I found this article on the wall street journal site recently and I think it is a good read. Plus, there is a mention about gynecomasita and the what it could be telling you about your health.
Check it out and let me know what you think about it.
One Note though:
I don’t want you to read this article and think you have a serious illness, just because you have man boobs. But, pay attention to the underlying meaning, our bodies usually do a good job of letting us know when something is wrong.
Have a regular check up and discuss any changes you have noticed with your doctor, and don’t be afraid to go in to real detail.
I would rather pay a few bucks and know I am healthy, then constantly worry about it. Because that can cause even more stress, which can have adverse effects on the body as well.
Excerpt:
Men can develop breast cancer too, with many of the same symptoms. Enlarged breasts in men, known as gynecomastia, generally indicates an imbalance of estrogen and testosterone, which can occur from puberty or aging — or it could be a sign of kidney disease, or a pituitary tumor.
