I had a similar issue a few months back where I felt a lump in my chest just above the nipple that was tender to the touch. 

I went to the doctor and had a sonogram and mammogram (yes guys get them too) and they couldn&#039;t see any thing wrong, and I am still not exactly sure want it is. Apparently it wasn&#039;t anything to worry about, but it was a bit unnerving until I had the tests run.   

My doctor told me that if it feels like it doesn&#039;t belong there or feels unnatural then it is something that may be harmful, like cancer. Which is usually hard and just feels like it doesn&#039;t belong.  

I suggest you do the same and see your doctor. They will be able to run some tests to determine if it is anything to be concerned about.
